Whether the concern involves the Christian community, families, communities, social issues, justice, compassion or another matter of public interest, we want to provide a place where appropriate petitions can be shared.

What Is a Petition?
A petition is a formal request asking an individual, organisation, government body or other authority to consider a particular issue or take a specific action.
Petitions can help demonstrate that a number of people share a concern or support a particular cause.
However, a petition should always be based on truthful information and presented respectfully.
Submit Your Petition
If you have a petition that you would like Christian Life Today to consider publishing, please provide the following information:
• Petition title
• Your name or organisation
• The issue you are raising
• What you are asking for
• Why this matter is important
• Who the petition is directed to
• The petition wording
• A link to the official petition, if one already exists
• Relevant supporting information or sources
Please ensure that any information submitted is accurate and can be reasonably verified.
Our Review Process
All petitions submitted to Christian Life Today may be reviewed before publication.
Submitting a petition does not guarantee that it will be published.
We may decline to publish a petition where, for example, it:
• Contains abusive, threatening or hateful language
• Promotes discrimination or harassment
• Contains deliberately misleading or false information
• Is defamatory or makes unsupported allegations against individuals
• Promotes illegal activity
• Contains inappropriate or offensive material
• Is primarily commercial or promotional
• Is unrelated to the purpose of Christian Life Today
• Duplicates another petition already published
• Appears to be spam or part of an organised attempt to manipulate engagement
We also reserve the right to edit submissions for spelling, grammar, clarity, formatting and length while seeking to preserve the petition’s intended meaning.
Christian Perspectives and Public Issues
Christian Life Today welcomes appropriate petitions that encourage people to consider matters from a Christian perspective.
Our faith calls us to care about justice, compassion, truth, mercy and the wellbeing of others.

We ask everyone submitting or supporting a petition to remember that real people may be affected by the issues being discussed.
You can strongly disagree with an idea without attacking the person who holds it.
