Food Bank Advent Calendar

Bringing Hope and Provision—One Day at a Time

This Advent season, we invite you to join us in making a real difference in the lives of individuals and families facing food poverty.

Our Food Bank Advent Calendar is a simple yet powerful way to reflect the love of Christ through practical giving. Each day from December 1st to December 24th, we ask you to set aside one essential food item or household product to donate to our local food bank. By Christmas Eve, you’ll have created a generous hamper filled with hope, nourishment, and kindness.

How It Works

  1. Collect One Item a Day: From tinned goods to toiletries, each small offering adds up to a big blessing.
  2. Pray and Reflect: As you give each item, take a moment to pray for the person or family who will receive it.
  3. Drop Off Your Donations: Please check the closing dates for your nearest food bank. These can be used by the foodbank for Christmas eve, after Christmas and New Year.

Why It Matters

Jesus said, “I was hungry and you gave me something to eat.” (Matthew 25:35)
This Advent, let’s be His hands and feet. Together, we can bring comfort and dignity to those in need.

Get Involved

You can participate as a family, a group, a school, or a workplace. Let’s make this Christmas a season of giving that brings light into dark places.

Let’s countdown to Christmas with compassion.
