Share Your Experience, Knowledge, Faith and Story
Christian Life Today is pleased to welcome guest writers who want to use their words to encourage, inform, challenge and inspire others.
You do not have to be a professional writer, published author or theologian to become a guest writer.
You may have a personal testimony, ministry experience, professional knowledge, biblical insight, life experience or a particular subject that you believe could benefit our readers.
Your experience and your voice matter.
We are particularly interested in articles that encourage Christian faith, explore relevant issues, support individuals and families, strengthen churches and communities, and help people understand what it means to live out their faith in everyday life.
This is an ongoing opportunity, and we will continue to welcome suitable guest contributions.

Before You Submit
Please read the following requirements carefully.
1. Your Work Must Be Your Own
The article must be your original work.
You must have the necessary rights and permissions to submit everything contained within your article.
You must not submit another person’s work as your own.
Christian Life Today takes copyright seriously and may carry out checks on submissions to protect our writers, readers and website.
2. Copyright and Other People’s Material
If your article contains material created by someone else, you are responsible for ensuring that you have the appropriate permission to use it.
This can include:
• Quotations
• Photographs
• Images
• Artwork
• Charts
• Graphics
• Other written material
• Copyrighted resources
Where permission is required, please obtain it before submitting your article and be prepared to provide evidence of that permission if requested.
Simply finding something on the internet does not mean that you have permission to reproduce it.
3. AI-Assisted Content
If artificial intelligence or an AI writing tool has been used substantially in preparing your article, please tell us when submitting it.
We expect guest contributions to represent the writer’s own ideas, experience, knowledge and voice.
AI tools may assist with tasks such as spelling, grammar, accessibility or editing, but contributors remain responsible for the accuracy, originality, copyright and content of anything they submit.
Christian Life Today reserves the right to decline or request changes to content that appears to be mass-produced, copied, misleading or unsuitable for publication.
4. Proofreading and Editing
All submissions will be reviewed before publication.
Christian Life Today may correct:
• Spelling
• Grammar
• Punctuation
• Formatting
• Typographical errors
• Broken or unclear links
• Basic presentation issues
We may also suggest changes to improve readability, structure or clarity.
If substantial changes are needed, we may contact you before publication.
The aim is not to change your message or remove your individual voice, but to ensure that the finished article is suitable for our readers.
What We Need From You
Before we can publish your contribution, please provide:
• Your full name
• The name you would like published
• Your location
• Your position, occupation or ministry role, where relevant
• Your experience or qualifications relevant to the article
• A short biography
• A photograph of yourself, if you would like one included
• Your website, blog or social-media links, if applicable
• The proposed title of your article
• A brief synopsis of what your article will cover
• Your completed article following initial contact and approval
Please do not send a completed article as an unsolicited attachment before making initial contact.
First contact us through our Contact page and tell us that you are interested in becoming a guest writer.
Once we have discussed your idea, we can advise you on how to submit the article.
Article Format
Following initial contact, please send your article electronically, preferably as:
• Microsoft Word document (.doc), or
• PDF
Please make sure the document is clearly laid out and includes your name and article title.
If you are submitting photographs or other supporting material, please make sure you have the necessary rights and permissions.
Think About the Reader
Before submitting your article, ask yourself:
• Encourage someone
• Teach something useful
• Provide a new perspective
• Help someone understand an issue
• Challenge readers to think
• Strengthen someone’s faith
• Offer practical advice
• Share a meaningful experience
• Point people towards hope
• Help churches or Christian communities
• Start a constructive conversation
Try to write for the reader rather than simply writing about yourself.
Personal stories are welcome, but consider how your experience could help someone else.
Biblical and Christian Content
Christian Life Today is a Christian website, and contributions should be appropriate for our Christian audience.
Where you are making biblical or theological claims, please take care to represent Scripture accurately and responsibly.
Different Christian traditions may approach certain issues differently. We recognise that genuine differences of interpretation exist.
However, articles should be presented respectfully and should not deliberately attack, insult or misrepresent other Christians, churches or denominations.
Personal Opinions
Guest writers are entitled to express their own views.
However, publication of an article does not necessarily mean that Christian Life Today agrees with every opinion, interpretation or conclusion expressed by the author.
Where appropriate, we may include a disclaimer making this clear.
The views expressed in guest articles belong to the individual author unless Christian Life Today specifically states otherwise.
Sensitive Subjects
We recognise that some of the most important subjects are also the most difficult.
Guest contributions may address subjects such as:
• Bereavement
• Abuse
• Disability
• Mental health
• Addiction
• Domestic difficulties
• Trauma
• Illness
• Poverty
• Family breakdown
• Grief
• Difficult experiences within church life
These subjects should be approached sensitively and responsibly.
Where appropriate, contributors should avoid identifying other individuals without their permission, particularly where doing so could compromise someone’s privacy, dignity or safety.
If your article involves another person’s personal story, please make sure that you have the necessary permission before identifying them.
Links and Promotion
We understand that many guest writers have their own websites, ministries, books, businesses or social-media accounts.
You may provide these details when submitting your article.
Where appropriate, Christian Life Today may include relevant links within your author biography or article.
However, guest articles should not be submitted primarily for advertising, search-engine optimisation, link building or commercial promotion.
Links must be relevant and appropriate for our readers.
We reserve the right to remove, change or decline links that we consider unsuitable, excessive, misleading, unsafe, spam-related or primarily promotional.
Your Christian Life Today Link
As part of our guest-writer community, we appreciate contributors helping others discover Christian Life Today.
Where appropriate, we may ask that you add a link to Christian Life Today from your own website or social-media presence.
This helps build a wider Christian community and enables your own readers and followers to discover the article you have contributed.
Previously Published Articles
Please tell us if your article has already been published elsewhere.
We are happy to consider previously published material in appropriate circumstances, but you must have the right to allow Christian Life Today to publish it.
If another publication is currently considering the same article, please let them know that you are also submitting it elsewhere.
Simultaneous Submissions
Christian Life Today is happy to accept simultaneous submissions.
However, you must be transparent with the other publication or publications involved.
If your article is accepted elsewhere while it is being considered by Christian Life Today, please let us know.
Likewise, if Christian Life Today accepts an article that is also being considered elsewhere, you should inform the other publication.
What We Don’t Publish
Christian Life Today reserves the right to decline or remove material that we consider unsuitable.
This includes, but is not limited to:
• Spam
• Plagiarised material
• Copyright-infringing material
• Fraudulent or deceptive content

• Abusive content
• Defamatory material
• Illegal content
• Excessive commercial promotion
• Unsafe or malicious links
• Content designed primarily for SEO or link manipulation
• Material unsuitable for our Christian audience
• Material that creates an unreasonable legal or safeguarding risk
We also reserve the right not to publish an article simply because it does not fit our current editorial needs.
Protecting Our Readers
Christian Life Today takes the safety of its readers seriously.
For this reason, submissions may be checked before publication.
Checks may include consideration of:
• Copyright
• Originality
• Sources
• Links
• Identity and background information where appropriate
• Potential fraud
• Spam
• Misleading claims
• Other risks to Christian Life Today or its readers
These checks are designed to protect both contributors and our readership.
Publication Is Not Guaranteed
Submitting an article does not guarantee publication.
Christian Life Today reserves the right to:
• Accept an article
• Decline an article
• Request amendments
• Request additional information
• Delay publication
• Remove an article after publication where there is a legitimate reason
We may also decide that an article is better suited to another section of Christian Life Today.
Our decision to decline an article does not necessarily mean that the article is poorly written. Sometimes a contribution simply may not fit our current content, audience or editorial direction.
Copyright Remains With You
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you retain copyright in your original article.
Submitting an article does not automatically transfer ownership of your copyright to Christian Life Today.
By submitting an article for publication, you give Christian Life Today permission to publish it on our website and to promote the published article through appropriate Christian Life Today channels.
This may include our website, newsletters and social-media platforms.
We will normally credit your work to you.
If another organisation or individual wishes to reproduce your article, we may direct them to you as the copyright holder where appropriate.
Responsibility for Your Article
The responsibility for ensuring that your contribution is original, accurate and legally available for publication rests with you as the author.
Christian Life Today does not accept responsibility for copyright infringement caused by material submitted by a guest writer.
If a legitimate copyright or other legal concern is raised about an article, Christian Life Today reserves the right to temporarily or permanently remove the article while the matter is investigated.
No Payment for Guest Contributions
Guest writing for Christian Life Today is currently a voluntary contribution.
We do not currently pay guest writers for articles submitted and published through this programme.
Our aim is to provide a platform for Christians to share their knowledge, experiences, faith and encouragement with a wider audience.
After Your Article Is Published
Once your article is published, we may promote it through Christian Life Today’s online channels.
You are also welcome to share your published article with:
• Your church
• Friends and family
• Your website
• Your newsletter
• Your social-media followers
• Christian groups and networks
Please use the published Christian Life Today link when sharing your article so that readers are directed to the original publication.
Become Part of Our Wider Christian Community
Guest writing is more than simply putting an article on a website.
It is an opportunity to contribute to a wider conversation about faith, life, church and the world around us.
Your experience may be exactly what someone needs to hear.
A story you share could encourage someone who feels alone.
Something you have learned could help someone facing a difficult decision.
A biblical insight could help someone understand their faith more deeply.
An honest account of your journey could give someone hope.
You never know whose life your words may touch.
